Communications List View
The Communications List View (see below) makes it easy to:
- View all communications for a project
- View which questions from the client have not been resonded to
- Respond to the client by answering their questions and sending back one PDF that contains their questions and the designer's responses
Accessing the Communications List View
There are two ways to access the Communications List View:
- Go to Items > View pull down > Communications List View
- From the Projects List View, click on the envelope icon
Responding to a Client Question
Click on the Reply button. Enter your response. Then click Save.


Acknowledging a Client Comment
Sometimes a client will respond with a simple statement ("Thank you!" or “Ok.”). DesignSmart can't tell when an email needs a response or not, but it will assume every email from the client requires one. When you don't need to respond to an email from the client, click the Acknowledged button in the layout above. This will mark this email as read.
