                                                                      How Contracts Work

                                                                      Your firm can set up in the Portal up to two contractual documents that the client can sign and approve within the portal. If there is another signatory for this client, they too will be requested to sign the documents.


                                                                      Adding Contracts to a Project

                                                                      You can add up to two contractual documents to a project. The names of these contractual documents will need to be added in your System Settings> Customizable Lists> Attachments.

                                                                      After your contracts have been set up in your System Settings, you can then send these contractual documents to your client's Portal. You will need to go to your Project's Detail view> Attachments.


                                                                      Client Awareness

                                                                      When a client, or signatory, logs into the portal, they will see the screen below that alerts them that a document has been added and needs approval.


                                                                      Approving Contracts

                                                                      Your clients will then need to click on the Documents icon to view and approve all the documents sent over to their Portal. 

                                                                      After approving the document, the name of the person approving and the date the document was approved will be shown in the Approve column.


                                                                      Approval Notifications

                                                                      After approval, both your firm and the client will receive an email confirming that the document has been signed.
