What is PaySmart?
PaySmart is an online payment platform developed by DesignSmart that allows your clients to pay invoices online. And if they pay by credit card, your client will pay the credit card surcharge, so your firm doesn't have to bear the cost.

How does PaySmart compare to other merchant accounts?
Your Firm Will Not Lose Revenue
You can decide the payment method for each of your clients. You can allow them to pay with a credit card and/or ACH. It is your call. If you enable them to pay with a credit card, then PaySmart will add the 3.25% credit card processing fee as a surcharge when they pay the invoice online. This means your firm will not bear the cost of the credit card fee.
There is a 1% charge (up to $24.00) processing fee when clients pay online with their bank accounts (ACH). Your firm will bear this charge, but because this amount is almost trivial, most firms consider it covered by their standard markup amount.
PaySmart uses Stripe
Stripe is one of the largest credit card processors in the USA. Your firm will need to sign up for Stripe to use PaySmart. If you already have a Stripe account, we can link that to PaySmart.
