Inventory is linked to Products
In order to understand the connection between Items, Products and Inventory, please start by reviewing the section "Products versus Items".
Inventory has no connection to items. Inventory is connected only to Products.
In the screenshot below you see the following information.
- For the project of Matthew's Inventory, Item #2 is a Kitchen Counter Stool with the quantity of one. All of this information is referred to as Item Details because it has to do with the project and not the actual product.
- The actual product name is Counter Stool
- The inventory that is linked to this product is the following:
- There is 1 of these stools allocated for this project
- There are 3 more of these stools available
- There are 4 of these stools in inventory.
