                                                                              Using the Approvals Tab

                                                                              You can use the Approvals Tab in the Item Detail View to record the requested Approvals for a particular item.


                                                                              Recording an Approval 

                                                                              When you select the Approvals Tab the Approvals Card will appear. From here, recording Approvals is simple. 

                                                                              Step 1: Select the Required Approval

                                                                              Select the Approval types that are required for this item. 

                                                                              In the example below, this fabric will require a CFA.

                                                                              Your firm can define up to 10 Approval Types. The screenshot below shows 7. Inform your Project Manager which 10 you would like set up in your system.

                                                                               

                                                                              Step 2: Select the Action Type

                                                                              Next, we will select the type from the drop-down.


                                                                              Step 3: 

                                                                              Once the type is selected, fill in the rest of the fields as needed. 

                                                                              When you click in the field to the right of Status, you can select the appropriate one.


                                                                              Step 4:

                                                                              If there are any PDF related to the Approval, click the Attachments button and add them.
