Excluded Items
Why Exclude Items?
Often times a designer will use the DesignSmart Companion to bring many options for a single item into a project. For example, in the image below the designer has used the Companion to bring in two possible planters (Items 19 and 20).
Once the designer has decided which of the plangers to use for this project, then she can either delete the items or exclude the items that are not needed.
We strongly recommend excluding items that are not needed in a project rather than deleting them.
Advantages of Excluding Items
- It is faster to exclude an item. Just click the X to the right of the item.
- If, for any reason, you need to use one of the items you had previously excluded from a project, you can simply click on the X again to bring it back into the project.
