Entering Timesheets with Phase Tracking
When you are using the Phase Tracking module you will be required to select the Phase of the project you are working on when entering Weekly or Single-Entry timesheets.
When a user creates a Time Entry the billing rate for the role the user has been assigned will be pulled in as the billing rate. If the Billing Rate was adjusted for the project in the Project Details that is the rate that will pull.
It will only be necessary to select the task if the Require Tasks Selection for Time Entry toggle is on in the System Settings. Read more about that here.
Single-Entry Timesheet
As stated above, with the addition of Phase Tracking, there is one more step when creating Single-Entry timesheets.
Step 1:
Begin by creating a timesheet as you normally would, except this time there is a drop-down for Phase. Use this to select the Phase this timesheet entry is for.

Step 2:
After selecting the Phase, a field will appear to select the Task.

Step 3:
Continue filling out the entry as you normally would and be sure to save your entry.
Weekly Time Entry
Step 1:
Begin by creating a Weekly Time Entry as you normally would, except this time there is a column for Phase. Use this to select the Phase the timesheet entry is for.

Step 2:
After selecting the Phase, a field will appear to select the Task.

Step 3:
Continue filling out the entry as you normally would and be sure to save your entry.
