You can use the Set Price feature to set the unit price. To use this feature, click on the Set Price button.

                                                                                Set Unit Sell Price

There are two tabs on the Set Price card. The first one is the Set Unit Sell Price tab. Simply enter the price you want to sell the item for (Step 1), then click Set Price (Step 2).

                                                                                Calculate Unit Sell Price

The Calculate Unit Sell Price tab is useful when you know the MSRP and your trade discount. Once you enter these two amounts, you can then enter how you want to split the profit with your client. For example, in the screenshot below, the designer's cost was $723.22. If she sold the item at MSRP, she would have a profit of $216.03.

However, in this example, the designer opted to split the profit with the client, so she entered a Client Split of 50%. If she clicked the Set Price button, DesignSmart would have set the sale price to $813.24.

Alternatively, she could have entered the Client Price, and the Client Split would have been calculated.
