Product Library
The Product Library can be used a few different ways depending on the practice of your design firm:
| Most Design Firms | For most design firms, a common use of products is defining a fabric and then using that fabric/product for another upholstered item in that project. Or even using that product for another upholstered item in another project! |
| Hotel Refurbishment Design Firms |
Firms in the hotel refurbishment niche, or firms that work with specific brands of hotels, will develop a comprehensive product library based on the chains they work with.
For example, Hotel Brand G might have certain room schemes with specific products they will accept for each scheme. These firms will enter all of the products into the Product Library before salespersons or designers start using the system. |
The Products Library can be a great feature for some design firms and unhelpful for others. We encourage you to work with products to understand what they can do for your firm. If you'd prefer not to use this feature, you can ask your project manager to turn off the Products Library.
