Project Refunds
How to Create A Project Refund
While most designers don't like to do it, there are times when you need to refund money to your client at the end of a project.
If/when this occurs, you can use the button shown below to create a refund line in the Deposits and Invoices register. When you click on this button, you will enter the amount being refunded. In the example below, you'd be refunding the remaining $58,468.76 to the client.
This button creates a line in the register so the Merchandise Deposit Remaining is $0.00. It does not create a payment in QuickBooks. You'll need to handle this manually in QuickBooks or whatever accounting system you use.
