Getting Started
In the following sections are the required steps to set up the DesignSmart Inventory System (DIS). Please work with your assigned DesignSmart Project Manager to make this process quick and efficient.
Going Live
In addition to the steps described in this User Guide, there are additional tasks that are required in order to go live with the DIS. These tasks will depend on various details:
- Can you provide accurate On Hand and On Order quantities before you go live with the DIS?
- Will you need to take a complete inventory to obtain accurate On Hand quantities before you can go live?
- Will you need DesignSmart support staff to be on hand hen you go live?
Every inventory system implementation is different so DesignSmart staff will work with you to determine the most efficient method to go live.
