For many years, the majority of our design firm clients have resisted the idea of offering a client portal to their clients. Their focus was on building the relationship between the designer and the client. Inserting technology between those two people was considered counterproductive. That attitude started to change during the Covid years, and we heard firms becoming more open to letting technology benefit both the designer and the client. For that reason, we developed our Client Portal.
Some of the benefits of a client portal from a design firm's client's perspective include:
- View their proposals online
- View multiple images of an item
- Ask questions that are sent directly to the designer
- Approve proposals
- View invoices
- Pay invoices and deposits online
- View documents (mood boards, floor plans, care and use manuals...)
