Installing the Companion

To install the DesignSmart Companion follow these steps:

Step 1:

Use the Chrome browser to go to the login page.

Step 2:

Click on the link shown in the image below.

Step 3:

Click on the Add to Chrome button shown below.

Step 4:

Click on the puzzle piece shape in your extension bar, indicated by the number 4 below.

Chrome has a feature that requires you to indicate which extensions are visible. If you have several extensions already then you'll need to do steps 4 and 5. Otherwise you can skip them if you see the extension on your Chrome bar. See image below!

Step 5:

Click on the pin icon to turn it blue. This will pin the DesignSmart Companion to your extensions bar as shown below

When the Companion is installed you will see a light bulb icon to the right of the web address bar.

The green icon has been replaced with a colored light bulb.
